Laboratory

The Laboratory module allows the lab staff to enter lab tests in the database. The completed tests will be available automatically to the medics.Hospital laboratories are an essential part of the healthcare system. They provide the information that doctors need to make accurate diagnoses and to provide effective treatment.

first we have to click on the lab button.

Then we get the lab details of the patient with add new lab test option.

By clicking add new lab test button we can add other test details.

Lab dashboard mainly contains 4 sections:

• Lab orders

• Lab result

• Patient

• Profiles

Lab orders

A lab order is a document that is used to request that a laboratory perform a specific test on a patient's specimen. The lab order typically includes the following information:

Patient name, EMR details, Doctor, Requested date, status etc.

Lab Result

Lab result: A lab result is a report that provides information about the results of a laboratory test. Lab results can be used to diagnose diseases, monitor treatment, and assess patient outcomes.

lab result view button is an important features that allow patients to access their lab results quickly and easily. click on view button to see the lab result.

Patients

Patients: The patients tab on a lab dashboard is a page that displays information about the patients who have had lab tests performed at the laboratory. This information can include the patient's name, date of birth, gender, medical record number, and the results of their lab tests.

The search option allows patients to search for their lab results by date, test name, or patient name. here we have the options to view lab result and add new lab test.

Profiles

Profile: A patient profile on a lab dashboard is a page that displays information about a specific patient who has had lab tests performed at the laboratory. This information can include the patient's name, date of birth, gender, medical record number, and the results of their lab tests. The patient profile can be used by laboratory staff to track the progress of a patient's lab tests, identify patients who need to be contacted about their test results, and generate reports on the patient's lab results.
